"We are all behind the squad!"
On the eve of the two big matches to come this Thursday and Sunday at the Stade Louis-II, Axel Disasi and Breel Embolo were able to take the pulse of their fans!
The Club had indeed invited them to share a special moment with the Vice-captain and the Swiss international striker on Tuesday. A one-minute chat on the SuperQuickQuestion platform to get the answer to THE question they have always dreamed of asking them, while encouraging them before the second leg against Bayer Leverkusen and the derby against Nice.
And the fifty or so AS Monaco fans selected from among the many registered – from Monaco, everywhere in France and abroad – had a great time! The two team-mates were naturally asked about the two upcoming matches and their ambitions, both personal and collective, for the end of the season, but they also received questions and messages more specific to their situation.
If his winning goal last Thursday in Leverkusen animated the sessions, Axel also discussed with his interlocutors his progress since his arrival at the Club, his best memories under the diagonal shirt, or his adventure during the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
For his part, Breel was asked about his rapid adaptation to the group, his perception of Ligue 1 compared to the Bundesliga, as well as the support of the Red & White community throughout France and Europe.
At the end of each chat, the participants were able to have a picture as a memory of this very special moment, which was appreciated by Axel Disasi and Breel Embolo.

For the latter, “it’s a nice way to get closer to the fans” and “always a pleasure to be able to exchange with them and feel their support, especially in a week with two important home games.
The final word for the Monegasque number 6, who was exchanging “for the first time in this form” with the fans: “it’s very pleasant, original and it allows us to break the ice a little. Reinforcing this unity in this period of high-stakes matches is beneficial for everyone.
