This level score held until the end of regulation, but after three minutes of extra time Ludovic Giuly sealed the fate of the match by scoring his second! The Monaceo captain perfectly exploited Shabani Nonda’s pass, on an action initiated by Souleymane Camara.
Almost 17 years later, the Senegalese striker trained by AS Monaco still plays in Ligue 1 and participates this season in his thirteenth consecutive season in the jersey of Montpellier!
