Folarin Balogun and Team USA reach the Nations League final!
They are only one match away from achieving a second straight CONCACAF Nations League. But it was hard for the United States and Folarin Balogun against Jamaica in the semi-finals, since they had to wait for extra time to finally win 3-1. A starter at kick-off, the Monégasque striker would note the opening of the score by the opponents in the 1st minute of play.

An own goal to equalize
Behind from the start, Team USA had to react and created numerous chances without really worrying the Jamaican goalkeeper. They finally had to wait until the final minute of added time to level the score, taking advantage of an own goal from the unfortunate Cory Burke from a corner (90+5′).

A controlled extra time
The two teams therefore played an additional 30 minutes and, boosted by this equalization, the Americans left no chance for their opponents. They indeed scored two additional goals through Haji Wright, well found by Giovanni Reyna each time (96′ and 109′). The hardest part was done and they won by a score of 3-1, punching a ticket to the final.

A big match against Mexico in the final
Less than a year after winning the competition against Canada, they have the opportunity to do it again. To do this they will have to beat Mexico, who easily dominated Panama 3-0, late on Sunday night (2:45 a.m.). This would then be a second trophy for Folarin Balogun in his career with Team USA.
