The fixtures for the nine Monegasque internationals

The fixtures for the nine Monegasque internationals
The day after the Derby victory against Nice at the Allianz Riviera (2-1), nine Monegasque internationals left to join their respective teams. Here is their program during the break.

Relief was to be expected last night for the nine red and white internationals, after the win in the Côte d’Azur derby (2-1). It is therefore with a feeling of accomplishment that Wissam Ben Yedder headed to join up with France and Didier Deschamps in Clairefontaine this Monday. AS Monaco’s top scorer this season (6 goals), he will take part in a friendly against Finland (11 November).

But also there will be two Nations League matches against Portugal (November 14) and Sweden (November 17). He will not be the only one to wear the French jersey, since Benoît Badiashile will join up with les Espoirs, for the crucial last two matches of Euro qualifiers. It’s a competition that Florentino Luis (Portugal), Radoslaw Majecki (Poland) and Strahinja Pavlovic (Serbia) would also like to play with their respective U21 selections.

For his part, Caio Henrique, a starter in the last two wins by the Red and Whites in Ligue 1, was called up for Brazil’s Olympic team. Finally, Stevan Jovetic (Monténégro), Guillermo Maripán (Chile) and Pietro Pellegri (Italy) will also join their compatriots during this international break in November.
