Strahinja Pavlovic loaned to FC Basel
AS Monaco announces the loan of Strahinja Pavlovic to FC Basel, currently third in the Swiss Super League, until the end of the season, with a purchase option.
The young Serbian international defender (15 caps and 1 goal, 20 years old) has played 11 matches this season in Rouge et Blanc, including three in the Europa League.
On loan last year during the second half of the season with Cercle Bruges, the central defender played a full half-season with the Groen-Zwart (12 games, 1 goal, 1 assist).
Strahinja Pavlovic came through at Partizan Belgrade, his first club, playing 57 games (2 goals, 3 assists) between 2018 and 2020 and winning the Serbian Cup (2019). After joining AS Monaco in January 2020, he ended the season on loan with the Serbian club.
