The schedule for the first team's training camp in Birmingham
Let’s go! Having returned three weeks ago to the Performance Center to start their preparations for the 2023-2024 season, the Rouge et Blanc are already continuing with their training. The men of the new Monegasque coach, Adi Hütter, flew on Monday morning to England and Birmingham, where they will train for six days at Saint George’s Park.
Two big tests ahead
It’s the usual home of the English national team, the Three Lions, the British “Clairefontaine”, and there the team will do fundamental and tactical work, in order to lay the foundations for this new AS Monaco. There are also two friendly matches to come, which will spice up this week of preseason: against Real Betis Sevilla on Wednesday, July 19 (kick-off 8 p.m. French time), and Leeds United next Saturday (5 PM CET).
A squad of 29 players
To carry out this exercise, the Austrian coach decided to take a group of 29 players to England, including the newest signing of the Principality club, the Swiss goalkeeper Philipp Köhn. Note that no less than eleven players trained at the Academy are part of the trip and will have the opportunity to gain more experience alongside their elders.
On the program for the week are daily sessions, inclduing doubles on Tuesday and Friday. Here is what awaits the Rouge et Blanc, as well as who makes up the squad. Let’s go!⏳
