We were good, we managed to find the gaps and find each other easily, this made it easier to attack and score our goals. The score is therefore logical given the character of the match.
This is your first goal this season, what is your ambition for this 2024-2025 season?
Personally I would like to have a full season, given that I did not have the opportunity to do so last season, with my two injuries. But now I feel much better, so I will have to continue and be the best possible.

Yes, that’s a bit like that, our goal is to start this season well, because we know there will be a lot of matches and we need the whole team as well as the staff to negotiate this season well.
After two clean sheets, has there been a change in defensive approach?
We knew it was important not to concede a goal. We have indeed had two clean sheets, so we have to continue this momentum. I think we are capable of it, we have to remain rigorous.
It is above all a matter of collective investment, it starts with the pressing and then the defenders who provide security at the back. But we must not get carried away, these are only the first two games, and we have to continue this momentum over time.
How do you see the offensive combinations?
It will get better and better as the season goes on. We already know each other from the previous season, so there are connections, and this really facilitates the understanding on the field.
Tell us about your connection with Eliesse…
We have a good understanding on and off the pitch, Eliesse and I. The goal situation was quite similar to one in Strasbourg So much the better, because we managed to score and put in a second as well to confirm the result. I knew that he was going to ask me for the ball again on the play so that makes our interchanges easier.

Are you surprised to have dominated OL so much in their stadium?
We know that they have a quality squad, and besides, it’s been a long time since we won here.
