Paris Brunner signs with AS Monaco and joins Cercle Bruges on loan
AS Monaco is pleased to announce the arrival of German striker Paris Brunner from Borussia Dortmund. Aged 18, the young talent has signed a 4-year contract, until June 2028. He joins Cercle Bruges on loan for the 2024-2025 season.

Born February 15, 2006 in Germany, Paris Brunner learned his trade at the academies of Rot-Weiss Essen and VfL Bochum before completing his training at Borussia Dortmund.

A keen eye for goal

Paris Brunner quickly made his mark in the U17 Bundesliga, scoring 16 goals in just five league appearances. He was naturally upgraded with the U19s at the age of 16 and proved just as decisive, as evidenced by his 21 goals and 8 assists in 25 games last season.

At international level, the right-footed striker proved himself in the last two editions of the Youth League, and also impressed with the Mannschaft, the German national team. First with the U16s, then with the U17s.

U-17 World and European Champin

In his age group, Paris Brunner excels (16 goals in 21 matches), finishing the year 2023 as European champion (co-top scorer) and World champion (best player), overcoming the French team in the final each time, having faced Saïmon Bouabré and Joan Tincres.

This season, Paris Brunner will play on loan in the green and black jersey of Cercle Bruges, and will thus discover the Jupiler League and European football.

AS Monaco wishes Paris Brunner the best with Cercle!
