Nations League, 2026 World Cup Qualifying... What's ahead for our internationals

They left for the break with a sense of accomplishment. Winners of their first away match of 2025 in Angers (0-2), our Rouge et Blanc are now in national team mode. For this March international window, no fewer than 25 players from the professional squad and the Academy have joined their national teams. So, between Nations League quarterfinals and 2026 World Cup qualifiers, here’s our internationals’ schedule. 📅
A big senior debut
Among those happy to be named is our Danish striker Mika Biereth who is preparing to celebrate his first call-up with the Danish senior team. Scorer of 11 goals in only 9 Ligue 1 matches, his mission will be to help his team reach the semifinals of the Nations League against Portugal.
As for the rest of the squad, several Monegasques will play in qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, starting with Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta with Sénégal, who will have the ambition to take over first place in their group. It’s a similar task for Wilfried Singo, who look to do the same with his Côte d’Ivoire teammates.
Still within the framework of the qualifications for the next World Cup, Eliesse Ben Seghir (Morocco), Mohammed Salisu (Ghana) and Takumi Minamino (Japan) are also ready to do battle with their countries.
