Maghnes Akliouche: Rouge et Blanc until 2026
After Soungoutou Magassa, it is Maghnes Akliouche’s turn to sign a long-term contract with his training club. The Tremblay-en-France native arrived at the Academy in 2017 and has extended his contract with AS Monaco until 2026.
A decisive first in the Coupe de France
A regular in the first team for the past two seasons, Maghnes Akliouche signed his first professional contract with the Principality in February 2022. The attacking midfielder had just made his Ligue 1 Uber Eats debut in a league match against Olympique Lyonnais, and punctuated his first professional start with an assist in the Coupe de France quarterfinal win against Amiens SC (2-0).

Winner of the Maurice-Revello Tournament with Les Bleuets
This season, the pure product of the Academy has continued to progress with the Monegasque first team by taking part in ten official matches (1 goal), even making his European debut in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.
Maghnes Akliouche also has seven caps with the French U20 team. The midfielder was called up along with Chrislain Matsima for the prestigious Maurice Revello Tournament in Toulon and played a major role in Les Bleus‘ success in the competition last summer, scoring four goals including one in the final against Venezuela.
> Paul Mitchell, AS Monaco’s sporting director, said:
“Maghnes is a talented young player who is in a phase of development and who AS Monaco is counting on. As a club, we are obviously pleased to see that players who have been trained at the Academy and turned professional have the desire to progress here, surrounded by experienced players. It’s up to Maghnes to take advantage of this favourable environment to continue his evolution and help the club achieve its objectives.”
> Maghnes Akliouche:
“Extending my adventure with my training club is a point of great satisfaction. It has been six years since I joined AS Monaco and the club has given me the opportunity to grow and progress step by step. I will be keen to continue my learning process within a talented and experienced squad like ours and to be there to help the team when the coach calls on me.”
