Juan Sartori elected to ECA
On Thursday 7 September, at its 30th General Assembly in Berlin, attended by over 200 member clubs, the European Club Association (ECA) held a number of elections to its Board of Directors for the new 2023-2027 cycle.
On this occasion, each of the 4 subdivisions representing the 339 clubs from UEFA’s 55 member national federations elected their subdivision representative to the board.
Subdivision 1, which brings together ordinary and associate members from the top 6 national associations in the UEFA rankings (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and France), elected Juan Sartori, Vice-President of AS Monaco, as the subdivision representative.

About the ECA
Founded in 2008, the main objectives of the European Club Association (ECA) are to safeguard and promote the interests of European clubs and football, contribute to the development of UEFA club competitions and encourage the exchange of information and best practice between clubs.
The ECA comprise 339 clubs from UEFA’s 55 member national associations.
More than 450 people attended the 30th General Assembly, held in Berlin to mark the institution’s 15th anniversary.
For the first time, the ECA welcomed women’s clubs as members.
