Philipp Köhn did all of his training in Germany, passing through Schalke 04 and Stuttgart before landing in Leipzig. He remained in the Red Bull galaxy and signed for Salzburg. Playing with the club's reserves, he gained experience and was then loaned to the Swiss club FC Wil, with whom he played all of their matches. With this experience, he returned to Salzburg and became the first-choice goalkeeper. He impressed by winning the Austrian league twice, in 2022 and 2023, as well as the Cup in the 2021-2022 season. He has also shined on the European stage, playing 16 Champions League matches, including in the Round of 16 against Bayern Munich. A Swiss international, he is part of the squad for the 2022 World Cup. This year full of success and good performances, earned him the title of goalkeeper of the season with his club before he joined AS Monaco in July 2023.
