A gala affair against the Netherlands
Les Bleus will first host the Netherlands on March 24 at the Stade de France for a big match before traveling to Ireland three days later as part of the start of Euro 2024 Qualifying.
Favorites along with the Dutch in group B, which is also made up of Greece and Gibraltar, they will have to finish in the top two to compete in the competition in Germany next summer. It seems and easy task at first glance but one which will have to have a successful start.
A reunion with Tchouameni
For this, the French team will be able to rely on the contribution of Youssouf Fofana (8 caps), a starter twice during the World Cup in Qatar against Tunisia (0-1) and Morocco (2-0) .
The AS Monaco midfielder will of course find an old acquaintance there, namely Aurélien Tchouameni, who is also in the squad. The opportunity to perhaps form again the “Fanameial” duo that was so devastating last season. “Tchouam” will not, however, be the only former Monegasque to appear as Kylian Mbappé will also of course be involved. Good luck Youssouf ! 🇫🇷
