Eliot Matazo is loaned to Royal Antwerp Football Club
AS Monaco announces a loan for Eliot Matazo until the end of the season with Royal Antwerp Football Club, currently fifth in the Jupiler Pro League.
This season, Eliot Matazo has participated in six Ligue 1 matches with Monaco. The midfielder now joins Royal Antwerp FC, which is coached by Mark Van Bommel, until the end of the season — the team is currently fifth in the Belgian championship, three points off the podium.
A pure product of the Academy
Having come to the Rock in 2018 and trained at the Academy, the midfielder born in 2002 (21 years old) has played 77 games in Rouge et Blanc (2 goals, 3 assists). Regularly called up with the youth teams of Belgium, Eliot has become a member of the Diables Rouges’ U-21s – even being captain at the last international matches – with whom he has 17 caps.
