Rouge et Blanc fans will thus be able to acquire collector items, real pieces of the history of the Club, and keep a material memory of some of the most memorable matches played by the players from the Rock. To mark the beginning of their collaboration, AS Monaco and Catawiki have launched a special auction with the 11 players who started the win against Paris Saint-Germain (3-1), on February 11.
An exceptional lot including a Club jersey autographed by the whole team, as well as an exclusive private visit to the Performance Center, is also up for auction. The entire amount raised will be donated to the Flavien Foundation, a Monegasque organization committed to the fight against pediatric cancers and supported by the two clubs on the occasion of their meeting.
Catawiki is already involved in in other sports
Other auctions will be organized by the end of the season, and then next season as well. In addition to this initiative, as usual, players will naturally be able to continue to exchange or offer their shirts to supporters at the end of the matches.
Catawiki counts among its recent partners several of the important players in international sport, such as the Team Jumbo Visma cycling team, from whom unique bicycles used in the Tour de France 2022 were auctioned last year, the Dutch cyclist Amy Pieters, or even the fastest marathon runner in the world, Eliud Kipchoge, with a collection dedicated to his passion for sport.
Adrien Zannettacci, Director of Sponsorships, AS Monaco: “We are happy to welcome Catawiki to the family of AS Monaco partners. Thanks to this collaboration, we will be able to give all of our supporters the opportunity to treat themselves to unique collector’s items and exclusive products related to the Club. Genevieve Tearle, Vice-President of Collections at Catawiki : “We are delighted to work with one of the most prestigious clubs in the French top flight, and to be able to offer fans the unprecedented opportunity to access signed memorabilia from AS Monaco, which have never been auctioned before.
