Carlos Aviña appointed Technical Director
AS Monaco is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlos Aviña as Technical Director.
Carlos Aviña will report to Director of Football Thiago Scuro. A native of Mexico, Carlos, 32, was previously sporting director at Cercle Brugge, where he joined in 2020.
He helped Cercle progress each season
At AS Monaco’s sister club, he helped Cercle progress each season, culminating in qualification for the play-offs in 2022-23. Previously, Carlos Aviña had been in charge of sports management and recruitment at CF America, the thirteen-time Mexican champions and seven-time winners of the Concacaf Champions League.
