Two matches to take the next step
The Nati are traveling to Andorra on Friday June 16, then will host Romania three days later, for the third and fourth matchdays of these group stages. In good position after their two wins, 5-0 and 3-0 over Belarus and Israel, and Switzerland are currently leaders of their group with six points, tied with Romania.
If they were to record two additional victories, the teammates of Breel Embolo, always proud to represent his country, would then be in an excellent position to be among the top two in their group and thus qualify for the competition, scheduled to be played in Germany next summer..
Four goals in his last seven matches
And there is no doubt that the Rouge et Blanc number 36 will be determined to find the net in order to conclude what has been a fine individual season in this regard. With AS Monaco, he set a personal record for goals in one season by scoring 14 times in all competitions, including 12 in the league.
