Benjamin Henrichs moves permanently to RB Leipzig
It’s a return to Germany for Benjamin Henrichs. Having arrived in August 2018 in the Principality from Bayer Leverkusen, the German international right back (5 caps) has definitively returned to his native country. In two seasons playing in the colors of AS Monaco, the German defender took part in 44 matches (including four in the Champions League), recording one goal and three assists in Ligue 1.

15 appearances this season
On loan with an option to buy at Red Bull Leipzig as of last summer, the German international defender has signed permanently with the current Bundesliga runner-up, as the club sit just behind Bayern Munich in the table. He has appeared 15 times this season with a side who were semi-finalists in the last Champions League, despite a knee injury, and has now signed through 2025 with RB Leipzig.
AS Monaco wish him a good end to the season and all the best for the rest of his career.
